I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues that cover therapy for anxiety and coping skills to family counseling and helping people with an autoimmune disorder, chronic illness, and/or chronic pain lead a fulfilling life. I offer a comfortable and inclusive environment with a holistic, personalized approach to each client to help you reach the personal growth you are aiming for.
I believe the foundation of meaningful therapy is a trusting, collaborative relationship between you and your therapist. Creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood is an essential part of the therapeutic process.
Healing is deeply personal and looks different for everyone. I tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs, experiences, goals, and pace. My work integrates psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Family Systems, and Attachment-Based approaches, while remaining grounded in Trauma Informed Care.
Together we can explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped how you understand yourself and move about the world. My goal is to support you in developing greater self-awareness, strengthening your relationship with yourself and others, and creating meaningful, sustainable changes.
Living with an autoimmune disease, chronic illness, or chronic pain can change the way you experience your body, your relationships, and your sense of self. All the while, life does not pause — you may be juggling your diagnosis or condition while being expected to work, maintain relationships, care for others, and keep up with the demands of everyday life. Therapy can offer a space to acknowledge the weight of carrying all of this while learning how to navigate life in a body that may not always cooperate and may require alternative routes to accomplish expectations placed upon it.
Together we will explore the ways chronic illness may have impacted your identity, relationships, self-worth, and goals for the future. I support clients in discovering ways to reconnect with themselves and build a life well lived within their current reality — without allowing their condition to define their entire identity.
Our work will focus on developing self-compassion, coping with uncertainty, and making space for grief surrounding your diagnosis, changes in your body, or the loss of a previous lifestyle. You do not have to choose between caring for your health and participating in the rest of your life.
